Here at Polaris Bikewear we pride ourselves on our fast delivery, making sure you get your orders as quickly and easily as possible. Below is some information on how we get your goods to you and how much it will cost.
Provide contact details to ensure delivery
Please help us deliver your order as efficiently as possible by providing a telephone number (preferably a mobile number) when placing your order on our website. This way our parcel carriers can contact you, should they need to, on the day of your delivery. Also, the telephone number is a requirement for Customs and providing one will speed up clearance and delivery of your parcel - this is particularly important for our customers outside the United Kingdom.
General Order Info
We aim to ship all orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday GMT (UK) within 1-2 working days although this may not always be possible during busy trading periods such as Christmas and may be up to 3 to 5 working days. Orders received after 2pm on a Friday will be shipped on the following Monday at the earliest. You can always guarantee same day despatch and fast track delivery when placing your order before 2PM, Mon-Fri by upgrading your delivery during the checkout process.
Please be aware that in busy periods such as Christmas we cannot be held responsible for delivery delays that have occurred once an order has left us, as it is then the responsibility of the courier. In all circumstances, we do our best to ensure your delivery arrives on time but we cannot account for external factors.
Clothing orders under £75 will cost between £4.00 and a maximum of £6.75 for orders over 2kg, and will be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class post or Interlink Express next day dependent on value and size. We never aim to profit on postage.
We do offer a FREE ‘collect from store’ service from our HQ in Dronfield (S18 1PN) which we encourage local customers to use and our opening times are Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm for collection. We suggest you avoid lunch times if possible are we are only a small team but we will do our best to accommodate. If the status on your order for collection is shipped it means your item is picked and ready to collect from us.
All international orders come with a tracking code and all domestic orders are sent via the Royal Mail (unless otherwise specified) with Delivery Confirmation Code. This code is NOT A TRACKING CODE but can be used by us to check your item has been delivered successfully. If you would like a tracking service please enquire separately on firstname.lastname@example.org.
We now offer FREE UK delivery on orders over £75 except for bikes, frames, luggage and other oversized orders.
Bike cases are £10 Shipped within the UK (Excluding Highlands and Islands). All international enquiries for bike cases or bikes are quoted for on an order by order basis and all shipping must be paid for in addition before the original order will be released.
We use a number of carriers including Royal Mail, Inter Link and Kuehne + Nagel to safely deliver your orders to your door.
• We will deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order.
• We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended.
• Disposal of packing materials is your responsibility but please keep all of these materials if you wish to return your order.
• If you wish to change the delivery address once the goods have been despatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on to you any extra charges made by our carriers for redirecting your delivery.
• Please check the goods on delivery. Any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery or ourselves within 3 days.
• If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly.
Outstanding orders can be cancelled at any time prior to despatch. In instances where payment has already been made, an alternative or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, or failure to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have not been received by the customer.
Distance Selling Regulations
You have a right to cancel your order within 14 (fourteen) days following the day after the date of delivery for any unused item purchased through the website under the distance selling regulations for refund. This does not apply to any perishable goods, or items personalised or made to your specification.
To cancel any item, you can e-mail, telephone, message, or write to us quoting your invoice number. You must take reasonable care of the items, and must not use them.
