Designed for adventure the Women's Polaris Challenge Pioneer Windproof Jacket is an essential staple of any cyclists or explorers wardrobe. This year we launch our Challenge Collection designed in line with some of the world's most exciting and passionate advocates for adventure by bike. These include Tom Allen, Tom Bruce and Tegan Phillips.
The Polaris Challenge Pioneer Windproof Jacket is made of a high-quality 2 layer fabric that features a soft textured inner flock lining that assists in moisture management over long periods in the saddle. The jacket features a more leisure style cut looking enabling it to look smart on and off the bike along with two side mesh pockets for easily accessible storage. The pockets also provide a second function as the jacket packs down into the pocket for easy storage. Rear exhaust vents on the back of the jacket improve air circulation and manage breathability which is especially important when spending long hours cycling into challenging headwinds. Then hem drawcord can be operated single handed and the jacket also features a venting popper to avoid the jacket flapping open when zipped open allowing you to open the jacket to increase airflow. Finally, the jacket is fitted wth reflective piping to rear side seams for improved visibility in low lights when you are caught out after dark.
Aside from being designed with adventure in mind this jacket with its impressive list of features lends itself to being a fantastic all year round leisure and commuter jacket in most seasons.
