Apex MTB Gilet November 23, 2018 Reviewer: PaulC from Norfolk United Kingdom   I did write a cracking review for the Apex Gilet but it seems you only get a 1000 characters. So here is the to the point version Pros: Well put together garment with nice touches like the internal seams being sealed to prevent water ingress. Good fit across the chest for the size I selected. Although not advertised it had a good level of wind resistance. Reasonable ventilation from mesh side panels. Cons: Body length and lower back cover too short. Initially it felt like a millets pac-a-mac with out sleeves. The internal coating is not nice to the touch especially when it is cold. Expensive at full retail price. No reflective logos or strips. Collar made from same material as the body so it can feel cold against neck or face. Overall the gilet performed well on a cool ride, in-fact it performed so well that some of the cons mentioned above could almost be forgiven. Except for the first one, the length of it. Good but short February 21, 2018 Reviewer: rob hudson from Eckington, Derbyshire United Kingdom   Managed to get this gilet in a sale. Quality is very good, however, fit is a bit short. At 5ft8 I am hardly a tower of a man, however, the small came just below my navel and above my bum. Not too much of a big deal but less coverage than I usually like Was this review helpful to you?
