BLACKBOROW

6066-T6 ALUMINUM TUBESET
Top-shelf, double and triple-butted, heat-treated 6066-T6 aluminum tubing is used throughout the
frame. This 6000-series aluminum has better strength and fatigue characteristics than 6061 and
7000-series aluminums, allowing for a stronger and lighter overall frame. Additionally, the tubing
is strategically shaped and formed for additional stiffness and strength optimization in key stress
areas.

SUSPENSION FORK COMPATIBLE
Designed around Salsa’s 51mm offset Makwa and Bearpaw fatbike forks, this frame is also fully
compatible with 100mm travel fatbike-specific suspension forks.

FULL-LENGTH HOUSING CABLE ROUTING
Full-length housing improves shifting performance in poor conditions and increases use time
between maintenance intervals.

190 X 12MM SYMMETRICAL REAR SPACING
Results in a strong rear wheel and frame; maintains proper chainline with crankset.

PRESSFIT 41 X 121MM BOTTOM BRACKET
Compatible with all 1x and 2x fatbike-specific cranks in both GXP and 24mm spindle types, that
matches up to 170/177mm rear spacing.

BEARPAW CARBON FORK
The Bearpaw Carbon fork features a 150mm thru-axle that boosts stiffness and improves steering
precision. The fork also features our Three-Pack mounts for mounting Anything Cages or water
bottle cages and can accommodate 5” tires mounted to 100mm-wide rims.

WHEEL & TIRE OPTIONS
Blackborow is designed for use with 26 x 4.8” fatbike wheels on rims up to 100mm wide. The frame
and fork are also compatible with the following wheel and tire combinations:
• 26 x 3.8–4.8” on up to a 100mm rim
• 29 x 2.25–3” (including 29+)
