Wore my Tornado out for the first time today. About 6 degrees with a cold wind. Rode in just a long sleeve base layer and the Tornado.
Got a bit warm up the hills, but once out on the flat it was the perfect mix. The windproofing kept the strong, cold gusts out. High neck meant that despite the fact I forgot to put my Buff on I had no issues.
The sleeves are really nice and long with thumb-loops, no breeze was getting in anywhere.
Pockets worked well, I had a competitors pack-able rain jacket in the side pocket, where it was just about secure. Might need to see if I can compress it a bit more in it's stuff sack.
Cracking product.
